To achieve the perfect finish on your vehicle it is vital that the paint surface does not contain any imperfections. You may think that your paintwork is in good condition but have you taken a closer look in direct sunlight? It is extremely common to find swirling, holograming, cob-webbing, oxidation, bird excrement etching and other random scratches on your vehicle.

The Picture below shows an example of this:
Removing such imperfections safely and effectively is what Elite Detailing specialise in. The Elite Detailing Paint Correction process will restore the paintwork back to how it was supposed to look after leaving the factory. In most cases we will rejuvenate the paintwork to a level that is better than “brand new.”

We use the latest state of the art paint test equipment and pride ourselves in doing so. Elite were the first detailing company in the UK to use the multi depth ultra sonic depth gauge.
During the process of paint/glass correction we run hundreds of tests, these include multiple (100’s) paint profundity readings, gloss meter readings as well as inspecting the paint under a microscope. This is an imperative part of the process and many conclusions can be made from this procedure. We will also be able to establish whether the vehicle has had any body work repairs previously and form a precious report on the condition of the paintwork.
After carefully inspecting the paintwork, we then commence the process of levelling the paint surface by 1000th of an inch. During this process we will be continually monitoring the paint using our paint test equipment. Once the vehicle paintwork has been re-levelled, you will notice that light will reflect crystal sharp with no imperfections and the colour of the vehicle greatly enhanced. At the end of the procedure we will then make further paint profundity tests.
Below is another picture of the red Ferrari 360 as seen above. The light reflection is clear and now the scratches have completely disappeared.
Some more examples of before and after Paint Correction can be seen below. In this instance we are using an Aston Martin to illustrate this.
